Daniel had a winning personality, a grand sense of humor and was loved by many friends and family.

He married his childhood sweetheart; Mari Hager October 8 1976. He worked for a trailer factory, a sprinkler company, and onion sheds trying to make ends meet. Though he was a hard worker and a good provider, the marriage didn't last.

He worked most of his adult life as a union laborer, and eventually married a pretty girl named Roxanne. They had 16 years together before that marriage ended as well.

Known as "Papa D" to many street kids, he was always willing to take someone in or lend a hand. He had a deep hearty laugh that made everyone feel good no matter how bad they were troubled. He held the hands and hearts of many, helpng everyone he could through their day to day struggles. He will always be remembered as a wonderful man, and good friend.

His creamation services and viewing was handled by Herring Funeral and Cremation Services in Walla Walla Washington.

His ashes were divided to be given to his children as per his request with the remainder being given to his mother for burial next to his father in Minnisota.

We are forever richer that his moccasins shared for a time, the same path as ours.
