CROFTON — Jeffrey Leo Potts age 47, Crofton, was pronounced dead June 16, 2012.
Visitation and a vigil service were June 21 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fordyce, and continued at the church Friday, one hour prior to services.
Mass of Christian Burial was June 22 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fordyce, with the Rev. David Fulton officiating.
Burial was at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Fordyce.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington.

Pallbearers were Matt Potts, Bill Potts, Frank Potts, Brady Potts, Bill Sage, EJ Escamilla, Jordan Escamilla and Adam Dorfman.
Jeffrey Leo Potts was born April 19, 1965, in Yankton, S.D., to Roman Theodore and Joan (Bunge) Potts. He grew up in Fordyce and graduated from Crofton High School in 1983. Jeff married Connie Boecker July 29, 1989. They had three children and three grandchildren. In March 2010, they were divorced. He had worked for the Crofton Elevator, the Tabor Co-op, and for Honey Do Builders with his cousin, Bill Potts.
Jeff enjoyed playing cards, fishing, playing pool, and being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his three children, daughter, Sarah and husband, Casey Reifenrath, Yankton, S.D.; sons, Tyler and Travis Potts, Yankton,S.D.; three grandchildren, Avery, Kade and Karter Reifenrath; mother, Joan, Fordyce; two sisters, Renee Escamilla, Torrington, Wyo., and Julie Potts, Glendale, Ariz.; one brother, Mike Potts, Norfolk; and nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father, Roman Potts, Nov. 7, 2011.
