Eli A. Countryman
Eli A. Countryman, 89, 407 Sycamore Street, Lynchburg, died at 2:45 A.M. Saturday at Fisher Convalescent Home in Washington C. H. He had been ill about four months.
He was born in Ross County January 20, 1985, the son of Daniel Countryman and Jane Everhart Countryman.
His wife, the former Jessie Myers, died June 7, 1962.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Harry (Dora) Penwell, Good Hope, Mrs. Nellie McBee, Bainbridge, Mrs.Ada Wilkin, Lynchburg, Mrs. Josephine Faulkner, Dayton and Mrs. Faye (Geneva) Washburn, Washington C. H.;five sons, Curtis, Columbus, Herbert, Hillsboro, Lawrence, Bainbridge, George, Greenfield Rt. 2, and James
Countryman, Pomona, California.
Also surviving are 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Shoemaker, Bainbridge.
One son, two brothers and three sisters predeceased him.
Services will be at 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Bainbridge Methodist Church with the Rev. Earl Russell officiating and burial in Bainbridge Cemetery.
Visitation was to be after 4 P.M. Monday at the Murray Funeral Home in Greenfield.
