G. F. CANNADA, FORMER ROXTON RESIDENT, DIES

ROXTON--George F. Cannada, 79, former Roxton resident, died Monday at 8:30 p.m. at home in Fort Worth. He had been ill several months.

Funeral services were set for 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Shannon Funeral Home in Fort Worth, with burial there in Rose Hill Cemetery. LeRoy Brownlow, Church of Christ minister, had charge.

Mr. Cannada leaves his wife, the former Miss Inez Keeling, and these children: Mrs. Leslie Bradshaw, Albuquerque; Mrs. Travis Medford Houston; Mrs. Delmas Smith and George Cannada, Jr. Fort Worth; six grandchildren; a brother, Em Cannada, Roxton, and two sisters: Mrs. I. J. Moore, Pawhuska, Okla., and Mrs. Ellen Denton, Norwalk, Calif.

Born in Roxton, March 6, 1871, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Cannada, he left here about 20 years ago.

Attending the funeral services were Em Cannada, Melford Cannada, Mrs. Zed Maness and Mrs. Wight Maness.
