Mrs. Violet Marie "Bobbie" Baugher, 74, of 4213 Lime Kiln Road, Frederick, died Thursday evening, April 10, at her home.

She was the wife of Henry L. Baugher who died in 1991.

Born Feb. 13, 1929, in Lucerne County, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Carl and Agnes Price Shores.

Mrs. Baugher had worked during her early years at Sagner's Inc., and later, until her retirement, with the nursing staff of Meridian Nursing Home, Frederick.

She was a member of the Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (SALT) council, Frederick County Sheriff's Office.

Surviving are five children, Henry Baugher Jr. and wife Patty of Buckeystown, Ethel Ramsburg and husband Maurice of Mount Pleasant, Linda Aylor and husband Lewis, and Wayne Baugher and wife Brenda, all of Frederick, and Danny Baugher and wife Melanie of Brunswick; eight grandchildren, Tommy Baugher, Michelle Adams, Paula Ramsburg, Chris Baugher, Jeff Aylor, Daniel Baugher, Brian Baugher and Leslie Baugher; three great-grandchildren, Randy Baugher, Kristen Baugher and Ashley Adams; three sisters, Ann Welty and Rosie Burrier, both of Frederick, and Bertha McKenzie of Feagaville; and three brothers, Carl Shores and George Shores, both of Frederick, and Bernard Shores of Buckeystown.

Mrs. Baugher will also be remembered by her friends, Wanda Palmer, Linda Stanfield and Jean McTigue.

Mrs. Baugher was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Aylor; and one sister, Catherine Mayne.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 14, at the funeral home. The Rev. Marina Flores, pastor of Manor Parish, will officiate.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Frederick County Hospice, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, Md. 21702-1799.
