ROGALA, Edna R, age 92 of Highland and the White Lake area, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 20, 2012.
Mrs. Rogala retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Detroit with over 25 years of dedicated service, as well as volunteering at Henry Ford Hospital, West Bloomfield.
Edna was the beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Reading and the late Edward A. Rogala, dear mother of the late Ralph Reading, Jr., Mayrie (Harry) Dawson, Edward (Donna) Rogala, Jr., Elaine (Ray) Walko, Shirley (Bob) Rumpz, and Dennis (Sandy) Rogala, proud grandmother and great-grandmother of several, caring sister of Margaret Stokes, Irene (William) Grimwood, and June Aldrey. Edna was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The funeral service will be Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at White Lake Cemetery, White Lake. Memorial donations suggested to Angela Hospic.; Envelopes available at the funeral home.
