Leola M. Williams, 100, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at an Abilene nursing center.

Born in Winters, Texas on May 25, 1912, she was the daughter of Alice Matilda (Nixon) and Ernest Clyde "E.C." Collinsworth. Leola worked as a LVN at Hendrick Medical Center as well as doing private duty nursing. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Leola was preceded in death by her first husband Ted Williams; second husband Claude Williams; daughter Maxine Boschetto and her husband "Chick" Andrew; granddaughter, Brenda Boschetto; two brothers Lloyd Collinsworth and D. B. Collinsworth; and two sisters Nola Collinsworth and Eunice Thompson.

Survivors include four daughters, Nidra Bailey and husband Bill of Chino Hills, California, Nancy Ruzinsky and husband John of Abilene, Betty Goss and husband John of W. Monroe, Louisiana, and Mary Silverstein and husband Fred of Houston; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and one nephew; cousins; and her loving church family.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 25, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road with Pastor Michael Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Abilene. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
