Mrs. Blanche E. Bottgenbach Brown, 324 South Pitt Street, died Saturday afternoon in Carlisle Hospital at the age of 60. She was the widow of J. Fred Brown, a barber and for a number of years fire chief of Carlisle. She was a member of Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church and Sunday School.
Mrs. Brown is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Doris Quigley, and a son, Robert E. Brown, both of Carlisle, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Lutz-Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street, with Rev. Dr. Simpson B. Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.

Burial was in Westminster Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Garman, Carson Minnick, John Buttorff, Paul Myers, Harry Barrick, and Kenneth Hankins.
