Charles Quinn "Bishop" Arthur,62, negro, died yesterday morning at his home, 703 East Ninth street, Scottsbluff, of a heart ailment. He had been ill about three weeks.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at Knight's, Rev. F. J. McCaftree officiating. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, here.
Arthur was born Jan. 29, 1873 at Wyandotte, Kans. In 1912 he was married to Carrie Woods. They came to Scottsbluff from Kansas City, MO., in 1918. Mrs. Arthur died here April 30, 1935.
Survivors include a son, Robert Arthur, and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Young, both of Scottsbluff.
