John O. Taylor of Quakertown died Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Abington (Pa.) Memorial Hospital. He was 81. He was the devoted husband of the late Bettie E. (Gross) Taylor. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Albert J. and Harriett (Olpp) Taylor. He was a graduate of Haverford High School, class of 1944. He served in the Navy during World War II. Upon his return, he was employed by Prudential Insurance Co., Quakertown, for 23 years and retired blissfully.
Survivors: Son, John A. Taylor (Cindy) of Quakertown; daughter, Lila Tyson (David) of Perkasie. He was a loving grandfather to Sarah Pennepacker (Robert), Abby Bondurant (Scott), Kelly Connelly (Chris), John A. Taylor Jr. and Andrew Tyson, and great-grandfather to Kaiden, Blakely and Jackson. He was predeceased by a sister, Jane.
