Emma Simmons, 89, Bellevue, Neb., formerly of Missouri, died March 5, 1988, at a hospital in Omaha. She was born near Eldon, Mo., and lived in Eldon most of her life. She moved to Bellevue in 1983.
Mrs. Simmons was a member of the First Christian Church of Eldon. Her husband, Gail Simmons, died in 1980.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Hixson, Kansas City, and Marjorie Johnson, Bellevue; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Phillips Chapel, Eldon; burial in the Eldon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.
