Dallas "Cowboy" Arnette, 75, of Pensacola, died Monday, October 26, 1998, in Mississippi.
Mr. Arnette was a native of Gateswood, AL and had been a resident of Pensacola for most of his life. He was a retired timber man and WWII Veteran. Mr. Arnette was an avid hunter and loved to fish. He loved talking to people sitting around telling old hunting stories and would always be a help to anyone who needed it. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include one daughter: Alucia Wendy Dykes; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Watson; two brothers, Vandrew and David Arnette.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Carl Sanders, officiating.
Burial will be in Hinote Cemetery, in Baldwin Co.
Active pallbearers will be Johnny Welch, Timothy Gearld, Timothy Roberts, Sean Howell, Leo Miller, Jim Ford.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday.
