SHARPSBURG - L. Albina "Bine" Roulette, 84, of Sharpsburg, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at her home.

Born Oct. 7, 1917, in Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of the late Alvey L. Benner and Alice Gertrude Hebb Benner Kauffman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ellsworth Roulette, in 1998.

She was a 1935 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg, taught Sunday school and had been a member of the choir and Altar Guild.

She was a member of Olive Branch Chapter 34 Order of Eastern Star of Keedysville; AARP; and a volunteer for the Sharpsburg Heritage Festival.

She is survived by one daughter, Alice I. R. Lushbaugh of Sharpsburg.

She was preceded in death by one half-brother, William E. Kauffman.

Private graveside services were held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Darrell L. Layman officiated. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.

At her request, there was no viewing.
