Son of Stephen Losee and Hannah Post, husband of Sarah Amelia Dunbar Coles, whom he married on November 19, 1856 in Hempstead, NY, and father of Charles Everett and John Losee.

In 1870, Alonzo Losee, aged 37, a farmer, was living with his wife, Amelia Losee, aged 38, and their two sons, Charles Losee, aged 7, and John Losee, aged 2, in the home of his parent, Stephen Losee, aged 74, a farmer, and Hannah Losee, aged 63, in Hempstead, NY.

In 1880, Alonzo Losee, aged 47, was living in Brooklyn, NY with his wife, Amelia Losee, aged 48, and son Charles Losee, aged 16. Alonzo was shown to be a receiving clerk.

In 1892, Alonzo W. Losee, aged 58, a weigher, and his wife, Amelia Losee, were living in Brooklyn, NY, with their son, Charles E. Losee, aged 27, who worked in a bank.

In 1920, Alonzo W. Losee, aged 86, widowed, was shown an inmate at the Methodist Church Home for the Aged and Infirm, on Park Place, Brooklyn, NY.

Church are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at the Brown Memorial Chapel, Park Place and New York Avenue. Interment at Patchogue, L.I. on the arrival of the 1:25 train from Flatbush Avenue.
