Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan,
where a Christian Mothers rosary will be said at 7 p.m., followed by a parish
vigil at 7:30.
Eddie was born March 4, 1935, in Mandan, the son of Ralph P. and Katherine
(Boehm) Geiger. He was raised on the farm and educated in a country school
northwest of Mandan.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961. On Aug. 27, 1962, he married
Nerina Mary Boehm in Mandan. After their marriage, they lived in Mandan for a
few years before returning to the farm where he was born.
Eddie was an active member of the Eagles Club and St. Vincent's Verein.
He is survived by his wife, Nerina; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Bruce
and Norma, Bismarck, Alan, Fargo, and Wesley, Mandan; one daughter and
son-in-law, Jane and Conway Kangas, Mandan; one granddaughter, McKenzie Kangas;
his mother, Katherine, Mandan; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Emanuel and
Bernice, Donald and Mariene, and James and Linda; two sisters and
brothers-in-law, Regina and Ron Pulkrabek and Kathleen and John Boehm.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Nicholes; one grandson, Skyler
Bruce; two infant daughters, Susan and Lenore; one brother, Eugene; and three
infant sisters.
