Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8 at Community Lutheran Church, McAllister for Albert Robert Goldschmidt, 93, formerly of the Town of Wagner, WI.Rev. Paul Hueter officiated and military rites were conducted by the Wausaukee American Legion Post. Burial was in Community Lutheran Cemetery, McAllister. He passed away Sunday morning, March 5 at Newcare Convalescent Center in Crivitz, WI.

The son of the late Herman and Minna (nee Tackmier) Goldschmidt was born on Dec. 13, 1912 in the Town of Grover and resided there all of his life.

On June 12, 1942 he married the former Muriel H. Zander. She preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 1998.

He served in the United States Army during World War II and he later did construction work, farming and logging in the woods. He was last employed at the Mirro Boat Company in Wausaukee.

Survivors include four children: Dale (Linda) Goldschmidt, Gary (Toni) Goldschmidt, Mrs. Ken (Marlys) Limberg and James Goldschmidt, all of Wausaukee, WI;
nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren
and a sister, Mrs. Paul ( Dorothy) Seefeldt of Coleman, WI.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sharon; seven brothers, Frank, John, Leo, Louis, Curtis, Otto and Fred; four sisters, Anna Wieting, Ida Wieting, Bertha Last and Marie Enderby.
