Mable Myra Stevens Lemmon passed from this earth on October 11, 2007 after a long and valiant struggle with cancer. Mable was born on September 3, 1931 in Mills River, NC and was raised there on her familys dairy farm. She was a homemaker and caregiver for her family and for many elderly individuals in the Springfield area. Surviving is her loving husband H. A. "Bill" Lemmon of Springfield MO, sister Edna A. Burks, brother Charles F. Stevens, and her beloved children Evelyn "Lynn" McCurry Langiano, Mary Diana Lemmon, David Leonard Lemmon, and Betheney Ann Lemmon. She leaves a legacy in her eight grandchildren, Christina M. Sweaney, Lorelei S. Shelton, Jessica J. Shelton, Zachariah I. Shelton, Lukas D. Lemmon, Noah D. Gentry, Gavin D. Lemmon, and Gabrielle F. Lemmon.
