Ansley H. Stuart, 87, passed away peacefully with family at her side on July 4, 2004, in Salt Lake City. Born August 18, 1916 in Sandy, Utah, to John M. (Jack) and Alice Dalton Hughes. Ansley was a lifelong resident of Sandy, a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. She married Glen H. Stuart on March 24, 1938, a marriage that was solemnized June 7, 1945, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Her husband, Glen, preceded her in death. Ansley is survived by her children, Roy (Tommy), Elaine Beck (Michael), Richard, and Jay (Heidi), 16 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services held Thursday, July 8, at the Mount Jordan 2nd Ward Chapel, 9331 South 300 East, Sandy. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
