Mrs. Agnes Marie Wolfe Abiba, 54, Thurmont, died Wednesday, Oct 3, at her home. Mrs. Abiba was born in Maryland April 7, 1925, a daughter of the late Hampton Morris and Saddie Marie Wolfe. She was the wife of Solero Abiba (Ret. CPOUS Navy).
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Thurmont
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, James Sotero Abiba, Fort Meade; Terry Lee Abiba, Thurmont, two daughters, Mrs. Victoria Abiba Orcutt, Thurmont and Miss Anitia Marie Abiba, Thurmont; two brothers, Hiram Wolfe, Thurmont; George Wolfe, Sabillasville; two sisters, Mrs. Elaine Baker and Mrs. Betty Wolfe, both of Foxville; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, Oct 4, at the Charles Wm Miller Funeral Homne, 104 Main St., Thurmont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 noon, Friday, Oct. 5, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Thurmont. The Rev. Fr. Edward V. Echle will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Resthave Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Frederick.
