Rada Belle Edmonds Ables, 74, of South Pittsburg, died Friday, October 20 at her home.

The daughter of the late John E. and Margaret Estelle Barnett Edmonds, she was the widow of Attorney Charles Robert "Bob" Ables, a member of the Lioness Club and the South Pittsburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a loving mother and Nana who enjoyed gardening and watching nature from her backyard. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Louise Brewer.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Robertson and Barbara Ables both of South Pittsburg; granddaughters, Nikki and Jessica Anderson both of South Pittsburg; sister, Bertie DeSabla of Crossville, TN; brothers, John B. Edmonds of Jasper and Charlie Edmonds of Bristol, Rhode Island; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Monday, October 23 at 2 PM CDT. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-9 PM CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Ables may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
