Edward Joseph Allain, 68, died at his residence in Addis at 11:30 a.m. yesterday after an illness of a year. The body is resting at Wilbert's Funeral home in Plaquemine, with funeral services scheduled for 4 p.m. this afternoon at the Brusly Catholic church. Burial will be in the Brusly Catholic cemetery.
Survivors are four sons, Corp. Vivian Allain of Ft. Lewis, Wash., Corp. Shirley Allain, who is now stationed in North Africa, Pvt. Eugene Allain, and Bernard Allain, of Melville; and two daughters, Mrs. Lynn Clement of Fort Benning, Ga., and Mrs. Stanley Shiman of New Orleans.
