Acie McKinley Brewer Sr., 92, of 1613 McKee St., died at 8:05 p.m. Saturday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center after a long illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gray's Memorial Chapel with burial in Cave Spring Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
A native of Legate, Tenn., he was born Jan. 24, 1897, son of the late Robert and Laura Dinkens Brewer. He was a laborer.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Virginia Brewer; a son, Acie McKinley Brewer Jr., Hopkinsville; six daughters, Mary Jewel Thompson, Lynda Dazie and Alice Ruth Word, all of Hopkinsville, Cordelia Reed and Princella Dixon, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Alecia Rice, Germany; a sister, Nettie Wright, Hopkinsville; and 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
