Allen D. Grammer Expires; Aged 67

Allen D. Grammer, born Sept 19, 1860, died March 29, 1928, aged 67 years, 6 months, and 12 days.

He professed faith in Christ in January 1925, and united with Dutch Ridge Baptist Church.

He was united in matrimony to Miss Elizabeth Jones in 1884. To this union was born six sons and one daughter: Roy, Chas, and Ed of Pomona; Yona, of Granite City, Everett, deceased; Ham Grammer and Mrs. Cora Rosson, of Murphysboro.

He married the second time in 1909 to Miss Carrie Hagler. To this union was born one son and two daughters, Austin, Eula and Arah.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Evert and Austin.

He leaves to mourn their loss, five sons and three daughters, and three brothers: G. C. Grammer, of Pomona, Lem, of Lafayette, Ind., and Arthur of Granite City, also one sister, Mrs. Catherine Crowell of East St. Louis, and a number of other relatives.
