He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Sarah Frances Thomason and an infant son.
He is survived by his son, Pat (Kim) Thomason and two grandchildren, Tyler and Heather Thomason, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation at 12:30 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, Florida.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Baptist Hospital as well as Covenant Hospice for their compassionate care in his final days.
