JANUARY 11, 1941
Julia Hayes, 65 years old, died at her home at 1311 South 4th Street at 6:00 A.M. Saturday morning. She is survived by two sons; Basil and Walter, of Shelburn Ind; and four daughters, Mrs Jess Richardson of Terre Haute, Mrs. Frank Stanifer of Carbon Indiana, and Mrs Edward Butler of Farmersburg, and Mrs Medford Moss of Shelburn Indiana. Also survived by one sister Mrs J.T. Gaskins of Shelburn, and 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The body was removed to the home of her son Walter of Shelburn. Funeral Services will be held at Shelburn Church of God at 2:00 Monday afternoon. Rev H.H. Drake will officiate. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery at Farmersburg.
