He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Ruth Haislip Overstreet, Diana Community; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jackson and Mrs. Hattie Lee, both of Nashville.
Mr. Overstreet was a retired detective with the Metro Police Dept., Metro Nashville.
Remains will be at the Cornersville Funeral Home where services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery, Lewisburg, TN.
