Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Dubel Ohler, 75, of DePaul Street, Emmitsburg, died Thursday, Sept. 6, at her residence.

She was born June 27, 1915 in Emmitsburg, where she was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Nelson and Bruce Moonshiner Dubel.

Her husband Edward Kenneth Ohler, preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1987.

Surviving are one son, Wayne N. Ohler of Frederick; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Ohler of Lewistown.

She was a retired stitcher for Freeman Shoe Co., of Emmitsburg. She was a member of Elias Lutheran Church of Emmitsburg, and the Senior Citizens of Emmitsburg.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, from the Skiles Funeral Home, Emmitsburg, with her pastor the Rev. W. Ronald Fearer, officiating.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
