information from Dennis Armstrong, great-grandson of Nellie Mae Hooks Fisher {George's dau}; George was killed in a train accident, when he was hit by a switch engine driven by a cousin; he also said George is buried beside his mother in an unmarked grave.

George married Marjory "Cleo" Irwin on 23 March 1908 in Dallas Co, they had two children. After his death Cleo married Doctor B. Bennett and is buried in Tuscaloosa.
