Age 36, son of George Basista and Elizabeth Deliman Basista. Michael suffered from Encephalitis Lethargica , also known as "sleeping sickness" or "sleepy sickness" (distinct from tsetse fly-transmitted sleeping sickness) ... as in the movie "Awakenings," a movie based in the 1960s where they did drug tests with L-Dopa/dopamine stimulant. Michael had been in the Warren State Hospital for 11 years.
