Charles E. Davis Sr., "Ted," 89, of Las Vegas, passed away June 21, 2012. He was born May 1, 1923, in Tower City, Pa. Charles served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II at Boganville, Guam and Iwo Jima. He owned and operated Davis Masonry until he retired in 1988. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 51 years, Billie, "Carol." He is survived by his wife, of 10 years, Celeste; five children; four stepchildren; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon, Monday July 2, with funeral services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Entombment will be private. Donations in memory of Charles E. Davis Sr. may be made to Chit Chat Farms.
