Charles Edwin Erickson, formerly of Los Altos, CA passed away at his Pajaro Dunes beach home on January 31, 2012, at the age of 88. Growing up in Denver, CO he was a Signalman First Class in the United States Navy during World War II and then graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Charles was a retired Financial Analyst for SRI International, writer of South Bay Accent's Silicon Valley's Top 100, former member of the Denver Masonic Lodge and Rainbow Dad for Los Altos Order of Rainbow Girls. He pursued his genealogical roots with extensive travel and collected stamps and coins.

Charles was the cherished and adored husband of the late Norma Erickson. A loving family man, he is survived by his son, Stephen Erickson; and daughters Stephanie Jensen and Stacey Usher and four grandchildren, Daniel and Scott Jensen, and Robin and Emily Usher.

Private family services were held, with burial at the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity. His warm smile and kindness will forever be remembered in our hearts.
