He retired to Pontiac about 1912 where he and his wife, Sille Marie, lived at 421 E. Howard Street. His only daughter, Hansenna Marie Johnson, and her three children moved in to live with them when her husband died. She had three small children. My mother, Minola Mae Weber, was the oldest. She was just 4 years old when her father died. Her brother, Casper Johnson, was two and her mother was expecting a second son,Joseph G. Johnson, Jr.
