Wayne Boelling

Wayne Paul Boelling, the son of Ardien (Adin) and Cressie (Ungry) Boelling, was born November 10, 1908 in Montgomery County, Iowa near Coburg. He died Tuesday September 10, 2002 at the Gardenview Care Center in Shenandoah, Iowa at the age of 93 years, 10 months and 1 day.
Wayne was raised in Adams County, Iowa. Wayne was united in marriage to Elma Irene Jones on October 6, 1930 in Des Moines Iowa. After marriage they moved to Montgomery County, Iowa. Wayne worked as a blacksmith for 8 years. In 1942 they moved to their home west of Red Oak, Iowa where he started working as a carpenter. Wayne was a member of the First Christian Church in Red Oak, Iowa. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, wife Elma on November 15, 1986 and one brother Ernest.
Wayne is survived by two sons, Lendel Boelling of Sumner, Washington and Randal Boelling of Bedminister, New Jersey, three daughters, Joan Hayes and her husband Vernon of Glenwood, Iowa Judy Herold and her husband Raymond of Shenandoah, Iowa and Jeanne Harris and her husband William of Nebraska City, Nebraska; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; two brothers Paul Boelling of Creston, Iowa and Eugene Boelling of Los Angeles, California; two sisters Mrs. Marjorie Walton of Tillamook, Oregon and Mrs. Evangeline Pennington of Omaha, Nebraska other relatives and friends.
