John O. Schwenzer, WV, 90, of Harpers Ferry, died Wednesday, Sept 11, 2002 at Shenandoah Health Village Center, Charles Town, WV.

Born Feb 16, 1912, in Webster, NY he was the son of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Dick Schwenzer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgiana Schwenzer in May 2002.

He worked as a sales representative for blueprint machine companies in New York.

He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town.

He was a former member and treasurer of Shannondale Club Ltd.

He is survived by two daughters, Jane S. Scott of Harpers Ferry, and Mary Ellen Peters of Santa Maria, Ca., one son John D. Schwenzer of Rochester, NY; one brother, Leo Schwemzer of Webster; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Charles Town. The Rev. George Pucciarelli will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Webster.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial donations may be made to St. James Catholic Church, Building Fund, P. O. Box 370, Charles Town, WV 25414.
