CHARLES BOOKMAN RITES SATURDAY

NEW LEXINGTON--Funeral services for Charles Bookman, 66, of New Lexington, will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Church of God here with Rev. Calvin Nichols officiating. Burial will be in the Hollister cemetery.

Mr. Bookman, a retired shovel operator for the Ludwici-Celadon Co. here, died last night at his home. The body has been removed to the Chute Funeral Home here.

Surviving are his widow, Olive; eight sons; Harold of New Lexington, Arvon of Coolville, William of New Lexington, David, Dale and Ronnie, all of the home; seven daughters, Mrs. Lucy Rarick of Junction City; Mrs. Roy Green, Mrs. Ralph Self, and Mrs. Harry Coblentz, all of New Lexington; Mrs. Edward Parish of Marion; Mrs. Floy Kimball and Mrs. Andy Enczi, both of New Lexington; three brothers, William of Glouster; Clarence of Hollister and George of Glouster; seven sisters, Mrs. Stanley Burke of Columbus; Mrs. Grace Loomis of Hollister; Mrs. Alma Lanning of Athens, Mrs. James Cuthbert and Mrs. Charles Keple, both of Columbus, Mrs. Mable Gowler of Grove City and Miss Mildred Bookman, of Hollister; 31 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
