Virginia Ann Sunday, 75 of Jasper, Texas, died on June 30, 2012 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper with burial following at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.
A native of Bethlehem, Texas and former resident of Houston and Cleveland, Texas, Virginia lived in Jasper for the past sixteen years. A member of Newton Missionary Baptist Church, she was a homemaker who also worked as a baker for many years at Brookshire Brothers in Cleveland and Jasper. She was family oriented, a wonderful mother and an amazing grandmother who took care of everyone.
She is survived by her husband AJ Sunday; two sons, Vernon "George" Ware and wife Pamela and Jay Sunday and wife Kathy; daughter, Genessia Campbell and husband Mike; adopted daughter Paula Odom and husband David; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her brother Joe Scarborough.
