She was described in her son's, Abner Smith, will in 1799 as Deliverance Phillips.

In 1802, Deleverance Phillips, was shown on the Tax Rolls for Smithtown, NY, with $340 in real estate value. Also showing were Samuel Phillips, with $11,300, and Mills Phillips, with $1,960 in real estate value and $1,500 in personal estate value.

She was shown again on the 1803 tax rolls with Samuel Phillips, and Samuel Phillips, Jr.
