Father, Author, Playwright, Actor and Director. Russell started his career in theatre with his son Michael. Michael was a Tech. Director for many plays at Riverside Community Players. Russell has always been a story teller and has written many short stories and plays. Russell's career took off with his original play "Illusion Of Victory" which he Directed and cast himself as Mr. Halloran. This show was produced in California and New York. Russell also took on many tasks in theatre including Tech. Director, Props and publicity. After that, he studied at Lehner Stevens On Commercials Studios. Other acting achievements include, "All My Sons," "Promenade All," "Kind Lady," "The Foreigner," "Dreams and Illusions," "Trip to Bountiful," "Amadeus," "Gypsy," "Blythe Spirit," "Ansenic And Old Lace," "Tribute," "The Crucible," "A Christmas Carol," "Our Town" and many more. On April 16, 2003. Russell received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Inland Theatre League for Author, Actor and Director. He died July 25, watching TV from heart failure.
