Maxine (Westlake) Voigt died September 17, 2009 at the Anaheim Memorial Hospital, Anaheim, CA at the age of 81.

Eva Maxine was born November 27, 1928 to Ervil and Eva (Stone) Westlake in Aurora County, SD. She attended rural schools in Jerauld County and three years of high school at Wessington Springs. She moved to Los Angeles, CA about 1944 and lived the rest of her life there.

She is survived by three children: Dennis (Linda) Johns, Castaic, CA; Sandra (John) Rucky, Dublin, CA; Hisk (Sheryl) Prater, San Jancenlo, CA; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; one brother, Everett (Lucille) Westlake, Arleta, CA; three sisters, Doris Rutzen, Minnetonka, MN, Freda Hanlon, Weatherford, TX, Mary Lou (Carl) Sampson, Tea, SD; nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Kenneth age 2; one brother Arnold Westlake, Wessington Springs; two brothers-in-law.

Maxine's cremains will be placed at Prospect Hill, Wessington Springs at a later date. A small family service at the cemetery will be held.
