On Sat., 09 June, Neil McCully(sic) of Reedsville drowned in the river near Neenah.
His body was found last Wed. and was transported to Reedsville for burial last Fri.
He leaves a widow and one child. The deceased had spent a year in the Oshkosh
mental facility, but was released about two weeks before his leap into the river.

The body of Neil McCully (sic) of Reedsville was found in the Fox River near
Neenah last Thursday. He became mentally deranged last fall and was sent to
the Oshkosh asylum. He wandered away from there on the 5th of June and nothing
was heard of him until his body was found. It was a case of accidental drowning
as he was not homicidally inclined. He was a man of powerful frame, steady and
reliable. His difficulty resulted from overwork.

STATE OF WISCONSIN-COUNTY COURT FOR MANITOWOC COUNTY. In Probate.
In the matter of the estate of Neil McCulley, deceased, intestate.
On reading and filing the petition of Margaret M. McCulley of the town of Cato, in said
county representing among other things that Neil McCulley an inhabitant of said county,
on or about the 5th day of June A.D., 1894, at Neenah, Wis., died, intestate leaving
estate to be administered, and that the said petitioner is the widow of said deceased,
and praying that administration of said estate be to said Margaret M. McCulley granted:
It is ordered that said petition be heard at a regular term of said county court, to be held
on Tuesday the 6th day, of September A.D. 1894, at 10 o'clock A.M., at the office of
the county judge in the city of Manitowoc, in said county.
Ordered further, that notice of the time and place so appointed be given to all person
interested, by publication hereof for three weeks successively prior to said day of hearing
in the Manitowoc Pilot, a weekly newspaper published at the city Manitowoc in said county.
