Masonic rites were held Thursday afternoon in Deadwood for Dr. W. M. LeSueur who died Monday in Yankton. The final rites were held at the Masonic Temple with Carl Kubler officiating, assisted by members of Lodge No. 7, A. F. & A. M.
Serving as pallbearers were Yerling Geib, Albro Ayres, Gus Buehler, Richard Curtis, Burt Snyder and Guy Hemminger. Interment was in the Pineslope Cemetery at Belle Fourche under the direction of the McColley Funeral Home of Lead.
A former resident of Belle Fourche, Dr. LeSueur was born April 30, 1881 at Roanoak, Va. and was married Feb. 19, 1927 to the former Jeanne Thompson, who preceded him in death in 1956.
Dr. LeSueur, who had been hospitalized at Yankton since the first part of 1957, is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Schoenfeld, Mrs. Emma Jacobson both of Rapid City; Mrs. Madeline Seebach, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Ruth Hampton, Burbank, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Other Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Bill Brewer, Crawford, Neb. a brother, Ward LeSueur of Belle Fourche and another brother residing at Fort Pierre.
