Allie Mirth Casto Colby, 91, passed away August 6, 2004 in Richfield, Utah. She was born Sept. 16, 1912 in Salina, Utah to Rudolph N. and Ruby Lillian Jensen Casto. She grew up on a Gooseberry ranch, attended school in Salina until she was 14, then attended Jefferson High School in Los Angeles, CA. Allie married Clinton Colby on Sept. 24, 1930, they later divorced. She has been an active member of the LDS Church, where she served in many callings in the Primary, Relief Society and stake Relief Society. She was called to serve a full time mission in the California-Fresno Mission. She worked at the Grand Western Café, Pahvant School, Rowleys Sheet Metal, and Bradshaw Auto Parts. She is survived by children: Clinton Lee (Dorene) Colby of Roy, Cloyd Colby of Mission Viejo, CA; Sjon (Julie) Colby of North Salt Lake; Chett (Carolyn) Colby of Bellville, TX; Micala (Deno) Jensen-Blau of Providence; Rusty Colby of Richfield; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grand children; sister, Mary Hansen of Richfield; brother, Glen (Yvette) Casto of Bellingham, WA; sister-in-law, LeAnn Casto of Holladay. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Zane; brothers and sisters, Tony, Ned, Ruby Dell, Eva Mae, Lucille and Jack; son-in-law, Rex Jensen. Graveside services and interment will take place on Friday, August 13, 2004 in the Richfield City Cemetery.
