Mrs. Gillespie was the daughter of Hugh and Mary O'Donnell, pioneer residents of the town of Wayne, Washington county, Wisconsin. She was born there Nov. 9, 1861. After her marriage toPatrick F. Gillespie in 1882 she lived at Chilton and at Stockbridge, Wis., until 1920 when she and her husband moved to Oshkosh.
Her husband died in this city, Nov. 11, 1928.
Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. David Meier of Waukesha, Wis.; and a son, James E. Gillespie, Chicago. Also surviving are four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, residents of Waukesha, and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Joseph Ruffing, Mrs. Alton Germaine, and John and Alex O’Donnell all of Stockbridge, Wis.
Funeral services will be held at St. Augustine’s church, Chilton, Wis., Monday. Burial will be in St. Augustine’s cemetery in Chilton.
