_______
Patrick Munhall of Franklin, died on Friday last after a brief illness. He was well advanced in years but quite well preserved as he always lived a quiet life. He was one of the early settlers of Franklin and owned one of the finest farms in the county. He was a man of the highest character, honest, industrious and energetic.

(Note: This appears to be Patrick Munhall d. 1897. The 1880 Town of Franklin Census has Patrick as head of household- age 55 with wife Mary. Peter Munhall was not on any census. Only cemetery with this surname.)
