HAMBURG – DEATH OF A LEADING CITIZEN
On Tuesday afternoon Mr George Shollenberger of Hamburg, whilst on his way home, sank down in the street and in a few moments expired – supposed cause of apoplexy. Up to this time he enjoyed very good health. He was a highly respected and useful citizen in the community and leaves a large family to mourn the loss of a most affectionate father. He was a store keeper, for a number of years Post Master of the town, always a supporter of the best interests of the place, and did much towards building up the Emanuel Church.
