Adah Sue Cates, 58, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at a local hospital with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Cates was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She loved fishing, bingo and enjoyed watching The Tennessee Vols.
She was preceded in death by her, husband, Harvey Cates; parents, Orville and Marie Houser; and one brother, Johnny Houser.
Survivors include her children; daughter, Tricia (Milton) Bunn; sons, Ronald (Janet) Veal, Chester Scoggins; brothers, Larry (Sue) Houser, Jimmy (Theresa) Houser; grandchildren, Cody Goza, Erica Bunn, Danny Bunn, Amanda Morris, Dakota Veal, Sierra Veal, Zoe Veal, Aaron Scoggins; one great grandchild, Leah Butler, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Highway 157, Rising Fawn, GA.
The family will receive friends for visitation today from 5 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike at Hamill Rd., Hixson, TN.
