Mrs. Emma(sic) Soucoup, 76, died last night in the Municipal hospital, Two Rivers, after a lingering illness. She was a native of the town of Mishicot. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the home of a son-in-law, William Schroeder, Two Creeks. Burial will be in the Tisch Mills cemetery.
Mrs. Soucoup, nee Anna Schauer, was born in Mishicot and was married to Rudolph Soucoup. They located on a farm in the town. Mr. Soucoup died 10 years ago.
Survivors are two sons, Anton, Two Rivers, Julius, Mishicot; two daughters, Mrs. William Schroeder, Two Creeks, Mrs. Emil Schleis of Norman, Kewaunee county; a sister, Mrs. Mary Sladky, Milwaukee; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
