Hayward Pinkney was born in Hawridge, it is no longer active, it was located in 1895 on the border of Dale and Coffee Co.'s, just North of Ft. Rucker. His first wife Nancy Sanders died 1874/75 and he moved with children to Brandon, Hill, Tx. Hayward's second wife was a widow Elizabeth Hol(d)man Eagleton; She is buried beside him in Evergreen Cemetery.
