I. LINCOLN BANGS. The funeral of the late I. Lincoln Bangs, a brother of Mrs. W. W. Allcott, took place this afternoon, the remains being taken to Boston for interment. He came here but last Saturday, ill with pneumonia, and died yesterday morning. A number of years ago Mr. Bangs was a resident of Kalamazoo, being a member of the firm of Barnes & Bangs. His age was 57.

Isaiah Lincoln Bangs was born on 28 October 1823 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Isaiah and Deborah Knowlton (Bigelow) Bangs.

Isaiah had six siblings:

Anne Rebecca Bigelow (1816-1861)
Deborah Bigelow Allcott (1818-1900)
Benjamin Bigelow Bangs (1820-1868)
Martha Sophronia Bangs (1821-1850)
Joseph Henry Bangs (1825-1826)
Henry Bowman Bangs (1832-1835)

He married Elizabeth Ann Steele on 5 February 1855 in Stratham, New Hampshire by Elizabeth's brother, Rev. John McClary Steele.

Isaiah and Elizabeth had six children.

He died on 11 November 1880 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was 57.
