Toby Lamping was born March 26, 1981, to Jerry and Kathy Lamping. Toby's life was lost in a boating accident Aug. 10, 2004.

He attended Cornerstone Christian Academy and finished at Rocky Mountain Christian High. Toby obtained his GED from the Adult Learning Center in Helena. Toby later attended the University of Montana, Helena-College of Technology. He proudly earned an associates degree in automotive technology. His calling in life was to be a mechanic. Toby was an employee at Helena Motors for several years although he eagerly and cheerfully repaired many cars for people without charge.

Toby loved people, especially those who needed help. He loved meeting the needs of people.

Toby enjoyed hunting, fishing, and four wheeling with his dad and cousin Jeff Shamley. Friendships were of utmost importance to Toby. When he made a friend it was for life. Toby was a born again Christian and attended the Fortress Of Joy Church with his family. Toby was a master of simplifying the most complicated mysteries of life.

His parents, Jerry and Kathy Lamping; an extremely close sister, Mandy Moody; brother-in-law, Tom Moody; one niece Ember and two nephews Jett and Chance and many relatives who cherished his presence, survive him.
